Southdown: An Early Chapter (2019)

I found this roll of expired 1980s colour film in the same box as my first 35mm camera. Loading it felt like a small leap of faith. The first place I took it was home, photographing my friends in Southdown, Bath, just to see what would happen.
“Looking at these images now, it feels like yesterday, and yet so long ago. Some frames are out of focus, and some moments I barely remember living through. There are places, fragments of time that feel familiar but distant, like they belong to another version of me. It feels like a different life, from an early chapter.”
