‘CAMOUFLAGE UKRAINE SAVES LIVES’

On June 25th, 2023, a fundraising event at the Secret Gardens in Bradford-on-Avon aimed to provide camouflage for soldiers in Ukraine. The picturesque setting featured gazebos with food, drinks, and a collection of handmade Ukrainian items for sale. Nicole Medin's singing added to the success, making it a day of positivity and community spirit.

At the beginning of the event, I positioned myself behind a gazebo with my Nikon D7100. Despite its damaged sensor and processor, I managed to capture the essence of the day. The unpredictable weather turned warmer, providing perfect conditions for photography.
During the event, I took close-up shots of items for sale, capturing details and showcasing the beautiful surroundings. The festive atmosphere, enhanced by Nicole Medin's performance, added to the joyous occasion. Despite technical challenges, my photographs serve as precious mementos of a memorable day.
A Festive Event with Nicole Medin: Capturing Beautiful Moments in Photos
During the delightful event filled with Ukrainian music, Nicole Medin's singing added joy and fundraising efforts. Before photographing her performance, I captured preparation moments to set up my camera correctly.
For close-up shots, I focused on every detail of her performance, gradually zooming out to include more of the surroundings. The sloping grassy area provided a perfect angle for capturing the landscape with Nicole as the centrepiece.
As Nicole's performance ended, I took photos of organizers and attendees with her, concluding with landscape shots to summarize the entire event. The experience was truly memorable, and my photographs serve as precious mementos of this festive occasion.
